This poll was inspired by a recent incident reported in the news.

The intent of this poll is to see who would react more angrily, white people or non-white people.
Idea for a second poll (if you check out the link): Do you think the story was worthy of national attention? Yes/I'm white, No/I'm non-white, Yes/I'm non-white, No/I'm white.
Would it have been a national news worthy issue regardless of the affected people's race?
Let me tell you this much, we chipmonks would have thought it funny and would not have left the building if they had said, "Attention chipmonks, all of you must leave the building now."
I'm white and I wouldn't give a crap.
Or, maybe, "Hey! I am deeply offended! Maybe I can make some money off this!".
LOL... I agree, the second answer more than the first question. Unfortunately if you're white the judge would laugh you right out of federal court on grounds of frivolity ...but if you were any other race the judge would hear the case lest he be accused of discrimination come the next election. ;)
I'm Native American but look white. I don't leave, I am shot by a security guard for disobeying orders. As I die, I think 'White man fucked me---AGAIN!!! ;)

How can you tell if it's a Black guy? When I worked in New York I worked with two Black people from Jamaica and they both sounded as British as the queen. I'd have never guessed their race if they we're talking over a P.A. system. I think it's racist to say somebody *sounds* like they are Black.
If President Obama was speaking over a P.A., could you tell? I certainly couldn't.

It is something about the sound and the mellow tone of their voice and the accent.
Yes I could tell the difference if Obama or Bush was on a P.A.
