United States
Yesterday it was 20°C here, broke all records for the time of the year. But that like any other daily temperature abnormality is not proof of or against global warming.
I'm up to around 6 inches now.
However, I'm getting the blue "pacman" that I was hoping for. ;)
That's what you get for living east of the Sierras. Me too, damn it!
I can remember my mother talking about blizzards fro Easter. She lived in the Texas Panhandle during the Depression.
Although we haven't' gotten our almost inevitable spring snow yet.
That sucks---but it is going to happen in that area--we were supposed to get a snow shower and it didn't happen--Ohio.
That is what we are used to, the closest we got in a single day this winter was 10cm (4") I am not complaining yet. It takes me about two and a half hours to clean my driveway (shovel) when we get 15 cm (6") My only concern is that we might not have enough water this summer as I draw mine from a well.
The worst we have had around here was just over half a meter (2 ') in a 24hr period, I would have loved a snow plow that day...
Today was deplorable. We have a cold front coming through that will drop the temps into the mid 50s. Today was about mid 70s. Oh the horror :-)
