A little background. The woman was divorced and thus not even married at the time of the 'offence'. The man, somewhat older, received 100 lashes.
Religious freedom has nothing to do with the right to murder women.
Keeping our opinions to ourselves is the best way to guarantee that no progress is ever made.
If stoning women has nothing to do with Islam, there certainly are a lot of strange coincidences occurring.
Smart people, wipe themselves off the face of the earth.
And we burned witches over here, and lynched black men, and tortured and imprisoned gay men,and a host of other horrors. We grew up on our own without outside opinion and intervention. What do you think of that?
Bad. Although I think 'you' hung witches rather than burned them. That was then, inexcusable but in the past. The Somali woman was murdered by religious fanatics a couple of days ago.
Why are all those 'moderate Muslims' not marching in the streets protesting what was done in their name? Why are not the radical leftie feminists screaming in anguish? I think its because the cowards are scared out of their wits.
A couple of days ago or no; not all civilizations progress at the same rate. And the more we interfere, the harder the resistance will be.
The British, more or less single-handedly, forcibly stopped the Atlantic slave trade. Should they not have interfered?
Sure not all civilisation progress, some regress and some, like that in Somalia are not even civilisations, just barbarisms.
