If they exported their pay and benefit policies to an American branch, you bet I would. Don't want to move to another country this late in my life.
The reason German companies move a lot of their jobs out of Germany is so they don't have to pay the German pay and benefits to the people of the country they moved their factories to.
Wow. Sounds like the same reasons the US companies moved from here. (lol)
Either way, I will continue to move towards full self-employment. At least then I get to set my own hours for a low-paying benefitless job.
I wouldn't reject the offer of work from a German company because it was German, if that's what you ask. But with the variety of issues involved in accepting employment - the nationality of the base corporation falls pretty far down on the list UNLESS you are discussing a third world or communist country. Then it would be a top concern.
