"As it pertains to present" implies, perhaps, the introduction of current politicization. I'd want to take a careful look at it before deciding if it was something I'd want them reading.
Not all teens are irresponsible. Some of them actually want to learn. I do think WWII should be taught in depth a lot more than it was when I was in school. I worked with a woman 25 years old at the time who never heard of the Holocaust. That was only about 10 years ago. I was shocked and didn't know what to say. I didn't learn about this until years after I was out of school. When I was in school about 40 years ago, we were sheltered way to much. I thought it was better now. Well my granddaughter is in middle school and she knows about the Holocaust and much more. That is the way it should be. Makes her understand a lot more about the news because of her knowledge.

To be honest, they really didn't cover much of the holocaust when I was in school either. They also didn't really teach you about history either..just dates and what order things happened in, not why or how it affects the world today.
Certainly. Truth is a virtue. Why would anyone vote "no." ?????
They don't have the batteries it takes or they aren't teens--there are two reasons.
