We understand that Google Earth "doesn't work that way", the question is IF you could watch something live from space- Many of the questions posted are hypothetical, some intentionally antagonistic, and then there's the sporadically just plain silly.
If you are asking if I would like Google Earth to be a "live" service, yes, I'd love it. It would put an end to war because no one would want to fight if they knew the enemy knew our positions and we knew theirs. You'd be able to see why your plane was late ... because it was still on the ground in some other city. You would be able to see traffic patterns not just on interstates but on every two lane highway. You'd be able to see long rows of cars on a two lane road stuck behind some slow moving truck and you'd know not to pass while nearing the top of a steep hill because you could see traffic coming up the other side. You would know if your girlfriend really had to go out with her mom like she told you, or if all the cars in the family were still in the driveway. Such a service would be too cool for words.

that'd be AWESOME!!
~except the girlfriend bit, just a tad stalker-ish... :P
so you are not trusting your girlfriend eh. Sound like you two have got some issues...
uh, if you mean me, I am a girl, and am straight, and thus have no girlfriend...
I meant - its kinda stalker-ish for chip to consider watching (his?) girlfriend when she doesn't know...
Yeah but she'd be able to watch me too. :-)
Do you know how to do it egproducer ?
sure, since i already use it.
Live Google Earth ?
It is usually a year old.
no, regular google earth. it wouldn't make sense for me to stop using it just because it had an exra "live" feature.
Wouldn't it be dumb to stop using something because it got better?
