No, but I would like to visit. I think maybe the government gets into everyone's daily life too much for my taste. Everyone I have personally met have been great people.

I like the immigration policy.

these days you have to do a ridiculous test-paper for full citizenship, many Australians would have trouble with it - lots of us don't even know our own full national anthem (I actually know Canada's...)

Come on down and spend up big.

Sell me on it. Yes, cool people, beautiful country, what about the reefs getting screwed up and fresh water perhaps one day being a new commodity?

Do all the women look like Olivia Newton John?

um...no, but were you implying that's a good thing or a bad thing? :S

If I could master the brogue I think I'd like it.

er, brogue? (as in like, "scottish brogue"?)

-Here's something you may not know; there are three types of Australian accent: (broad -"thick", general - the closest thing to NO accent, and one similar to England's 'received pronunciation')

(accents interest me btw...)

the most common is general, and you should have no problem at all, particularly in the cities :)

So, what you are saying then is "Crocodile Dundee" is not your typical Australian anymore than "Cajun Joe," from Baton Rogue, Louisiana is your typical American?

I'd love to :) Warm weather, friendly people and English - what's there not to like?

That will be my next country to visit.I have been to many parts of the world but the closest to Australia has been the Philippines. :)

It is beautiful! I enjoyed visiting, and would like to go again!
