Yes, but it wouldn't improve his chances of staying President. I bet a lot of people would do ANYTHING to see a black woman President and, I think it's conceivable, Oprah might be just the gal for the job. I'd vote for Oprah a thousand times before I'd vote for any other woman in politics today (even if the woman is white ... ol' Chip is colorblind; race don't matter if it's Oprah we're talking about).

See? Ol' Chip ain't no racist even if he is glad Imus got his job back.

Who would want some nappy haired ho as Vice President?

LOL, I can't believe you said that, you Imus sounding rascal you.

you're funny, and I love Oprah!

I don't think it would. Too many people have a negative image of Oprah. If I were him, I wouldn't invite Oprah, Hillary, or (sob) Kucinich (who I wish would become President).

Not in my book--what the heck are her qualifications to be anything other than a billionaire??

You didn't answer my question. Whether or not she's qualified for the job of VP is not the point...I'm asking if having her on the ticket would improve Barack's chances of winning?

yes I did--said not in my book.

No.... it would make Obama seem really stupid. Being President isn't about popularity, it's about leadership in government. Oprah should get elected to a state office first. She could be the U.N Ambassador.
