I’m going to only tackle one of the mistakes Bush and compare it with Obama, the Iraq war, Bush's mistake was going into this war to begin with, it can even be more disastrous if we pull out of Iraq costing countless lives in Iraq and all around the world. So my answer is no he tries to fix the mistakes Bush has made, (which personally I do not think he made any more than Bill Clinton did or any other president before him) Obama will make more mistakes and have a lower approval rating that G.W. Bush did.

Yeah, I'm going to have to agree with you on that one and I'll forgive Obama on it because it's not really his mess but Bush's. He's just going to have to try to clean it up the best he can but I agree pulling out now would be a big mistake but avoid another Vietnam at all costs.
Yet, I do feel confident that our military is better prepared, suited, and has the capabilities of ending this properly. On the other hand, I feel most of us can agree, we should have never been there in the first place.

Covering his butt from what? He will be too busy trying to live up to all of the empty promises he made. Did you hear the baloney he was talking in Indiana today.
Yeah... how DARE he take questions from Republicans and tell the that they have a good point, and their questions are legitimate. Doesn't he know that no Republican ever has a legitimate question? ;o)
Oh wait... you mean there's a president who actually LISTENS to people who don't agree with him? And admits when he screwed up? Wow... what a concept.

I heard the entire thing on the radio and saw clips of it on CNN. You can tell he was lying or didn't know what he was talking about because he wasn't looking at the camera or at anyone he was talking to.
Huh? Really? You can tell someone is lying (or don't know what they are talking about) because they don't look at the camera? Wow... I guess that makes Rush Limbaugh one of the biggest liars of all time, eh?
Did you consider that maybe he was looking at the person he was actually talking to? *sheesh*

What does Rush have to do with it? Aren't you swift enough to realize that Rush isn't surrounded by cameras at his RADIO station. BO was surrounded by, WAG, hundreds and all he did is look off into the air or at his monitors. Come on, it doesn't take a professor to know that.
I don't know about that. I wouldn't buy the right to watch him on the "dittocam". But from listening to him every once in a while I imagine there is quite of bit of difference in trying to read from his huge "stack of stuff" and trying to look into a camera at the same time. It doesn't relate in not even the smallest way to somebody standing in front of a bunch of people talking to them and not looking at them or the cameras.
Obama, if you are out there listening then you'll find out that, as it stands of right now, that the votes are almost 50-50 agreeing and disagreeing. Actually to be exact, 51% disagreeing, 34% agreeing, and 14% undecided. Please, for the love of America please prove the disagrees and undecided wrong... I'm willing to bet that they will thank you for it even if they didn't vote for you. Something must be done.
At least I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Anything has to be better than the last monkey we had.

President Obama will be too busy covering his butt and protecting himself from his nominees to correct anyone's mistakes, including his own.

He doesn't listen to the people. The only ones he listens to are his Clinton advisors, Reed, Pelosi and his writers.
So obviously you didn't really WATCH the town hall meeting... or you wouldn't be able to lie like this with a straight face.
On second thought...

Obviously you've never heard of the famous "Dittocam." ;o)
The larger point was the he was responding TO the questioners and not playing to the cameras. I would think you would find that admirable.
