Would you really prefer to live in outer space, or would you prefer to live underground like the Morlocks in H.G. Wells novel, "The Time Machine"? I think I would prefer to give underground a shot first. Under the oceans would be my next choice. And then, outer space.

It'd take too long to travel to another human-friendly planet. I'm sure we'll discover the technology needed...but the distance is far too great.
