Yeah sure if you go by Marxist/Leninist doctrine and captialism being consigned to the "recycling" bin of history.

But you know what I meant my friend.

More to the point will the UK's banking sector be state owned by the end of this year?

Yes. I think it will be a point of pride. However, I doubt it will be recognisable as what passes for communism today (let alone as cold-war era communism).

Why not a bit of amateur forecasting? Won't be any worse that the 'experts' and, with luck, may be as good a random choices by monkeys.

We cannot see 4 years into the future, never mind forty.

But I'll make one prediction: all forecasts turn out to be wrong.
