If that were what he was doing, it would be great. Just think! One in THREE children has no coverage. ONE IN THREE!!! Diphtheria and whooping cough epidemics can't be far behind--wait--we've already had whooping cough epidemics here, and diphtheria in the former SovUnion...and cases (only a few) in the U.S....interstate outbreak of drug-resistant TB in children in the West in the 1980s...
Yeah, it would be nice if we have universal health care.
Do you mean "socialized" like the socialized banking we've done now with Citicorp, Fannie & Freddie, and the investment banks? Or, like we've done with AIG? Or about to do with the car companies?
Is so, then yes, I think President Obama will makes the lives of the average U.S. citizen much better off, and our economy much stronger, through "socialized" healthcare which will enable people to be pro-active about their health, and get the care they need when they need it. And, not lose their homes in bankruptcy over medical bills.
If it's good enough for the FAT ASSES at the top, it good for all of us!
