I vote for all 4.

I don't know why, but whatever BS excuse they give it doesn't change the fact that supposed caregivers and healthcare providers ignored a woman while she died on the floor of a waiting room. They shouldn't be allowed to practice and I hope their consciences wont let them forget. It's a disgrace.

She was kept waiting for a bed 24 hours before her collapse. She was originally brought in for mental problems. I don't think the medical examiner has finished with her, but I have to wonder if she was showing signs of mental instability because she was extremely ill...the woman was only 49 years old.

I find the whole thing chilling.

That's a good word for it....seeing them step over her...definitely chilling.

I hope my hospital staff took notes - it is typical there to wait for hours and hours. My son had a fever once of 105 and we waited 4 hours and finally left. My friend recently waited 6 hours while he was having a reaction to a prescription. EVERYONE here talks about the wait at our hospital.

I took a friend to the Emergency room once late at night because she was ill and was afraid of complications (she has a chronic illness). We finally left after 4 hours when we started up a conversation with the couple next to us in the waiting room...he had major transplant surgery the week before and was bleeding from his stitches. He had been waiting nine hours by then.

One of my bosses once said to me if I ever had to go to the emergency room, make sure I went to one in a rich area. She was right.

I'm waiting for Wingnutt or Jonmarc to tell us that it was because of all the Canadians that were in the place.

You idiots just wait. socialized heath care is coming to America. At least the people will die at home waiting 6 months for an appointment.
