Lack of education.
That was not an obstacle for you or the majority others here, both American and non American.
still..
And I come from tribe whose motto might as well be "Don't outfight them, out-think them." That's very close to what my mother told me was the way to deal with the white man.

That brings up two questions:
1)So you were taught to be racist by your mother?
2)When do you plan on putting your mothers advice into effect?
Because intelligent people from the United Kingdom refuse to teach us what we need to know to be on par with the rest of the world.

It is called an error of transposition. A typo!

Don't take advice from stupid Americans....
Who said Americans were stupid? They are just perceived to be less intelligent than the other advanced nations.
By who?
Canadians....
LOL
I am not kidding, However I do feel it had a lot to do with the perception of the leader you guys had, I have to say that since the election of Obama, people feel a little more positive about the U.S. but when I tell people here that Americans are just as dumb or smart as the people from any other nation, they point out the popularity of people like Rush Limbaugh, or Sara Palin.

[3 points] 234 days ago by deleted user ReplyWould these be the same European nations that the US bailed out of two World Wars in less than 40 years? The same European nations that could not or would not stop the genocide by their neighbors in Bosnia in the 1990's and the same European nations who choose their leader according to birthright?
I don't know why we think Americans are stupid as they are clearly not. That was the point of this question.

[1 point] 234 days ago by deleted user ReplyThe people who founded MY country were people who fled Europe looking for freedom. The people who founded MY country threw off the yolk of imperialism that Europe tried to enforce. The people who founded MY country wanted nothing more than to get shed of Europeans stupid wars and were fed up with European bullshit for hundreds of years. The people who founded MY country, as well as me, laugh at your attempt to take credit for creating America and every thing good it has to offer and at the same time disassociate yourself from the bad. That is so European of you.

[2 points] 233 days ago by deleted user ReplyIf the US is considered to be so unintelligent how is it that we are so dominant as a nation? Culturally, economically and militarily a nation of ignorant people have built one of the most influential nations the world has ever known in little more than 300 years. Maybe its you who are living in Disneyland if you think your so superior to people in the US.
The U.S. was dominant economically, because you have been acting like a sponge absorbing every product the world had to offer. Europe is now dominant economically. You guys are dominant militarily because you spend almost as much on military as the rest of the world combined. (For all Nato members combined it almost 75% of all spending world wide)
The U.S. was and still is a great nation in my view, but you guys were not growing as fast as other nations. Maybe under Obama that will improve again.

[1 point] 233 days ago by deleted user ReplyTrue the earliest fled because of religious persecution, don't you think it is ironic that religious people in the U.S. are now dominating one party, laying down the law based on their religious (or church) convictions and even trying to influence something that should be neutral like science?
Actually I don't find that Ironic at all. I think its human nature to group yourself with people you have the most things in common with. Why would Christians not group themselves and vote for candidates and laws that reflect what they believe in? Both political parties have their core group with core ideals and each group in each party constantly try and impose their morals on the other.

[-2 points] 234 days ago by deleted user ReplyThey aren't. Americans can hold there own with any of them. If you care to check it out, most new innovations adopted anywhere in Europe were adopted in Europe because they worked well in the US.
For eight years we have had an absolute moron representing us. We voted him in so of course we are to blame for that perception.
Even now we have a very vocal minority, who btw, still support that idiot, screaming their lungs out over anything but the important issues.

It's a shame it hasn't gotten any better.
