I live to worship God. And when my times comes to leave the Earth I will be with him and worship him for eternity.
How do you know God is a "He"?
well, bible and stuff writes and talks about a "father" so one supposes it's a "he"?... I think that's the reason.
I know that God is a He because in the Bible it says: "No one comes through the FATHER except through HIM"

He doesnt need to be worshiped, we make it because we love him and because its the best to ourselves. If he wants us to worship him its for our own good.
And of course he doesnt have sex. If we call him/her its just a matter of language.
Why is worship 'best to yourselves'? Because you feel good doing it, or is there something else in it for you?
Because it guides us to real happiness, showing us what really is important in life. Because making it we will be with him forever, and yes it also feels good.
Yes He is a jealous God but that is what He is supposed to be. He created everyone whether His chosen ones or not to spend our time on Earth worshiping. Nothing else.
So we're just supposed to spend our one life on Earth worshipping? What a waste of time! And Nothing else? Really, NOTHING?
So you can't get a job to provide for your family because you need to be worshipping? Are you even allowed to have a family? What about sleep? Are you allowed to do that, or are we supposed to be worshipping him 24/7? Sounds like a horribly boring life to me.

I am worshipping God in everything I do. First of all, I don't have a job because I'm still in high school. Second of all, I am worshipping God by being on this website because I am telling others about him.
Everything you do? How do you worship god while eating your breakfast? Brushing your teeth? Sleeping? Driving? Waiting in the doctor's office? Cutting the grass? Flying in an airoplane? Walking? Etc.

The god from the bible sure is very jealous, he kills a whole city because some people in the city didn't believe in him. Not a nice character.

Just to make it clear, hell only exists because God gave us freedom, and he will respect it, so he cannot force us to love him and follow him if we, using our freedom, decide to reject it. You decide to go to hell, and God suffers for everyone who ends there.
I wont argue anymore, as i dont see the point anymore. Just think that its a little sad how you are automatically predisposed to reject our point of view and dont consider it in any moment. I have considered your point, but still believe in mine. Be careful about the brainwashing thing, you might have been brainwashed too, and you wouldnt know it.

besilvaa, when exactly did we do that? Please give an example or two.
First of all, I'm a she. Second of all, my dad told me some of the stuff that I wrote earlier but not the one about burning below me. I agree that was very rude and uncalled for. I know what real christianism is and I represent it fine. I agree that my arguments aren't clear only because I am trying to put all the stuff that I'm trying to get at in one comment.
I'd rather spend my life in the service of others. Heck with God if he doesn't like that.

personally i have no idea. im a 13 year old with ADHD,insomnia,bipolar disorder and currently im being tested for psycosis(srry if i spelled it wrong) if there is a god then he must really hate me. i hate my life so if any has an actual answer then plz tell me.

Don't hate your life. Stay away from stimulants like sugar and caffeine and get the heck away from the TV - read instead. I don't know that life has any "answer", but if you carve away the distractions and concentrate on something you find interesting, you can make your own journey a pleasurable one. Good luck!

uhh....an anti depressent, and anti anxiety, one for adhd,and 1 for psycosis and unfortunetly non for bipolar
I know that this is considered heresy by today's standards, but have you or your doctor ever considered the idea that the meds are the problem?
i have passed for something similar to your situation, been on meds and treatment, and it really sucks. But even if you have a genetic problem (as i do)and that seems to have written your destiny, you have your life in your hands, it may be more difficult, but you got the power.
I believe im here to find, love and worship God. God isnt guilty of your problems, he wouldnt make what you may call "explicit" changes (even thought he actually does) in your life, like changing your dna, but he would actually guide you to real happiness.
Theres a logical kind of law that helps me a lot to understand it. God cannot contradict itself. This means also that if he made us free he wouldnt interfer in some things to respect our freedom.
Im sorry if its a little hard to understand it, my english its not that well, but i can write it in spanish if you want.

I don't always get up in the morning. Often I get up in the afternoon. I live mostly because I have been lucky not to have been in any serious accidents and I usually eat a healthy diet and, apparently my genetic stock is good.
Because I have college, and if I don't have college then it's time to get up and have fun with my life!
