Why are we in Iraq? What is our mission there? Ask a Question

Don't forget! We also went in to create a re-electable "War President"!

Fortunately didn't make my country the mistake to conquer the Iraq. But I think it's a bit of killing terrorists and saving oil reserves.

The oil reserves aren't being "saved" they are being STOLEN from the Iraqi people

im just glad he's gone, should i say.

At least until the next one rises to take his place ...

We knew Saddam HAD WMD. Strange that when we arrived looking for the goods, he didn't actually have any more of the weapons of mass destruction (mustard gas) that we sold him under Reagan. Or was it Bush I?

None of those suggestions. We went there to rid the world of terrorists who want us dead. Since Saddam refused to allow U.N. mandated inspections, we had a right to go there and it was good strategy. Our 'shock and awe' wasn't hard enough and we HAVE to stop trying to be politically correct. It's a WAR and civilians get killed in wars. We need to wipe out a lot of territory to show them we mean business and we can and will win.

15 of the 9/11 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, none were from Iraq. In fact Osama and Saddam had always been sworn enemies. Saddam was secular and Osama was a fundamentalist.

When we attacked the UN had to rush the inspectors out of Iraq .... so much for inspectors not being allowed in there!

Tell that to the families of the 1 million Iraqis we have killed so far.

Incredible! We kill a million people and you are worried we are being too politically correct!!!

You whine about 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11 and dismiss a million Iraqi deaths as simple cost of war .... you would think differently if an other country invaded yours and killed a million of your countrymen.

Have a look at this little movie about 9/11 here:
