A decent man, he reminds me of that film "The Last of the Mohicans"

"If Republicans are wise about it, they'll go with someone who can attract moderates and independents." -- you mean like McCain was suppose to?

What about your little group, shet for brains?

He picked Palin because he was considered by many to be too far "left" and too moderate to appeal to the conservative "right" base. Palin was suppose to be that right side balance because he was so moderate and left.

I think ultimately he picked her because he was charmed by her, for lack of a better term. I can't account for it any other way. Surely there were better choices to appeal to the conservative right?

Agree--but still don't understand him picking Palin? Of course I didn't know that Billy Kristol told him to--that explains that.. ;)

Obama.

The only way republicans have a chance, is Ron Paul!

Too bad on the death panel thing.

How about Robert Burck? His campaign slogan is "Nobody has done more with less."

We ought to get Bruce Bueno de Mesquita, to run the numbers for us. (one of the foremost scholars of game theory—or “rational choice,”)

Palin, of course... Obama's biggest hope for winning a second term. :-)

First she bails out of her governorship, then start the rumors she will file for divorce to bail out of her marriage... a fine role model for America... hell yeah, sign her up as the Repugnican nominee asap... Voting for her in the Repug primaries makes me glad I never changed my party to Democrat when I voted for Obama. In the next election I'll be able to help him even more when I vote for Palin to win the Repugnican nomination of 2012.
