Can yo provide a link documenting the increase, and what kind of increase it is?

For instance, the US got what looked like a HUGE increase in crime due to the War on Drugs, but in actuality, violent crime was hitting record lows. In that case, the increase was due solely to political maneuvering and the inclusion of a government-defined new category of crime.

Why immigrants???? i cant understand i have seems the police in uk and its so funny they looks like babysitters with all that drumk people!! EVERTHING starts in home, it doesnt matter where you are from.

I think there are elements of all 4 involved, however I voted Government, on the basis that they are the only ones with any power to do anything about it, but don't have the bottle to do anything strong enough to make a real difference.

We are told there are no space left in jails so they have to release prisoners early to make room for new ones, yet yesterday they jailed a woman for making too much noise during sex and upsetting her neighbours.

As long as we have idiots like that in charge of law and order things will never get better!!!

If any, I think It's all four of them. And I think u forgot the most important factors: unemployment, the lack of new perspectives in life and social exclusion (for whatever reason).

You cant blame anyone except the people who commit the crimes.
