Hard to tell, I was not born in 1929 but many say that the rise of Hitler in Gemany had to do in part with the recession. So perhaps WWII had to do with it as well, and off course without that the entire history would have been different, perhaps my parents would not have met and I would not have been here to answer this question.
yes, that is true. I kind of saw that i made a mistake in that question...for the people who were alive then, i would really like it if they answered this question.
