Which method of birth control do you think is OK to use? Ask a Question

3 Answers

Excellent question. I'm interested to see the results.

I've read several studies suggesting that birth control pills lead to an increased risk of breast cancer. Thus, we prefer condoms. (I'm not sure I'll be online when the voting takes place).

What if you think oral contraceptives and barrier methods are OK?

I agree that it would have been preferable to have "All of the Above" and/or "Various Combinations of the Above" and to list morning after pills, RU-486 and other oral BC methods separately too. Unfortunately, the limits of Ask500People didn't allow a fifth (or sixth or ...) option.

Don't you think there is some difference between oral contraceptives and the morning-after pill? The first prevents ovulation and hence prevents conception. Morning after pills prevent an already fertilized egg from implanting. Some people might have a moral problem with the latter.
