United States
Bush is the most dangerous president this country has had, he got us in two wars of his choosing, nearly bankrupted the country, did away with habeas corpus and the list goes on and on.
Bush's ties with the extreme wealthy (his base as he affectionately called them) is not dangerous in itself, starting a war to get them the oil business on the other hand is mortally dangerous.
Um, actually Lincoln did away with habeas corpus as well; and there was a little thing called the Civil War, states succeed following his election, and eventually that lead to the war between the states. Polk got us into the Mexican-American War, Eisenhower got us into Vietnam and both Kennedy and Johnson expanded that involvement. There has been a lot of danger created by presidents over the years, not just Bush.
**Edit** Habeas corpus was also suspended during WWII, and that was during FDR's administration. And Clinton made changes to habeas corpus in 1996 following the Oklahoma City bombing.

Both.
The US is truly run by special interest groups. It is the balance between opposing special interests that keep this country stable. During the Bush and Obama administrations, we have seen this balance begin to oscillate first to the right, and then further back to the left. Both have been to the detriment of this country.
As a conservative, I understand why there is a very vocal group of people who hate Bush. But it is troubling that there is such a loss of objectivity when it comes to Obama. He is hurting this country just as badly, but in a different manner. History will show that BOTH of these presidents have done more harm than good to the United States, and the core reason for that is their loyalty to the special interest groups who helped them achieve their position.
Very well said Bakerbug.
Depends on which you are, and oil executive or a laborer.
So would you say special interest groups are good, as long as you like the special interest?
As I am neither an oil executive, nor a union member, I find both to be detrimental to the overall health of the nation.
I didn't say 'union member.' I said 'laborer.' Are you a part of the owning class, or the working class?
Very true bakerkbug. I work in a law firm that deals in employment law and constantly see how labor unions operate, and it ain't really pretty. As for for oil execs, it is just disgusting how profits are made hand over fist in that industry.
