From the tiny icons I couldn't tell which was which until after I saw the larger images. At that point I decided the font on the first one was crisper, but the font on the second was more spread out and easier to read. I thought the font on the second one looked "thin" but nonetheless the wider spread between the letters made it more appealing to me. Why don't you rework the lettering a bit and try again.
I didn't even realize I was in the minority until after I voted. :-)
It's hard to tell the difference between the "v" and the "u" on the one on the right.
The first one has a cleaner look.
Not just the v and u but as a whole it reads better.
Reply to myself. Wish i could see the logos after i voted. Or this site's User Interface needs to be "borrowed" for a Design Brainstorming Site.
