Oatmeal, blueberries, pecans, cinnamon, brown sugar, and rice milk. Yummy, and will lower your cholesterol in only 90 days (24 points for me in 60 days!)
Wow, and that really sounds good too.
Don't use the instant or quick oatmeal, use the regular or traditional. It only takes 5 min. in the microwave.
Plus, blueberries and pecans are LOADED with antioxidants. (They are the two most recently domesticated food species, and I suspect there is a link.)
The smoothie sounds awful but I bet that is the healthy choice??
Agreed. Hell, I think I'd rather give breakfast a miss then.
You can keep your nursing home years. Give me the happy, daily life full of exploration that doesn't include obsessing over what I put in my mouth, and lecturing others about what they put in theirs. So long as I can see, smell, hear, touch and laugh and love ... then I've got all I need. I'll go out of this life smiling and know I enjoyed myself, tasting all of life's pleasures along the way.
