Depends on where I am. On the East Coast, Indian takeaway as the Chinese food out here is AWFUL. It seems to have been heavily influenced by Eastern European cooking, and everything comes drowned in heavy, starchy gravies, or deep-fried until the grease can be wrung out of the starch.
I'm sorry, I don't know what a takeout is. I'm from England, and a takeaway is something that you order from the resturant, either get it delivered or pick it up , and eat it at home usually.
Chinese restaurants are fairly non-existant in Australia compared to what they used to be. Thai has taken over and I am SO glad it has. Fresher with much less fat.
