Don't let it piss you off. Flags are expensive. If they're stupid enough to spend that kind of money just to burn it - proves they're stupid to the entire world. We'll make more. Kind of stimulates the economy if you think about it!

I spent time in the Army defending that flag and the people that want to burn it--damm right it is going to piss me off, lives are what that flag cost.

I've never seen it happen where I live.

And I have never seen such thing happens to the flag of your country.

Can't cite date and time Hamed3000 but I am almost certain I have seen TV scenes where crowds of Iranians were burning the American flag.

It is a reality which happens every year in Iran. I am totally against this idea. I wish you make difference between people and government.

In my opinion, only governments have problem with each other. Provided that they leave people alone, for sure people don't have problem with each other. Therefore such extremes certainly do not happen.

I've never seen it happen personally. I'd imagine it wouldn't bother me but I'd be interested in what is behind it.

That surprises me.

Women burned their Bra's, that didn't make their lives better. They had to buy more.

Burning flags means you have to buy more flags.

Don't worry be happy !

You mean it wouldn't mean anything to you if someone burned your flag?

These people should spend some time with our soldiers in Iraq, and tell them it doesn't bother them to see our flag destroyed, and then count the names on the V N Memorial and the Korean Memorial and the WW'S memorials, PATHETIC!

On THIS we agree BEC.

I would hope any American would agree--its unbelievable to me that any one could shrug this off.

If it has to be explained to you, it doesn't matter--carry on.

Agree.

I think they're just low lifes that don't deserve to live here, AND I hope they have a job because they don't deserve to be supported by my tax dollars.

Good job man!!

It doesn't bother me when foreigners burn my flag. What bothers me is when my fellow countrymen burn there own flag thinking they are being so richeous when they are just being childish, immature, and very insulting to their fellow countrymen who gave them the freedom to be able to express themselves.

Interesting question.

One one level I am aware that the drongo's doing the burning WANT to make me angry, so I feel I should not oblige them by getting angry.

Of course knowing it and doing it are different matters, and I see see it as an insult and I do get angry.

To be honest, the day I stop caring about that, they might was well nail me in a box and bury me, as I won't be really alive anyway!

I feel very strong feelings if I see a US flag burned too, and probably would have for flags of our historical allies too.

Based on the results I thinks it's fair to say emotions cover the spectrum. I'm impressed by the even division. Thanks to all of those who responded.
