"Us And Them" by Pink Floyd. The second track on side 2 of "Dark Side of the Moon", hardly sounds sleasy.
"side 2" - that's something you don't hear much these days. The kids would ask, what's side 2 mean?
I pulled out some old albums that were pressed on colored vinyl to show to a friend. One blue, one red, one amber. Her 17-year-old daughter was absolutely fascinated by how pretty they were. Her mother asked her if she knew what they were. She had absolutely no idea. ACK! (lol)
Okay, for all you kids tuning in, it's track 7.
Dire Straights - Brothers In Arms - "Your Latest Trick." Probably one of the best sax solos ever. Not a bit sleazy. Mournful energy. Also contains "The Man's Too Strong" - one of my all time favorite cuts. Absolute powerhouse both in music and lyric.
I dunno, I kinda think sax music sounds sleazy in a good way.
I think the old Benny Hill yakety-yak sax could hardly be described as sleazy.
But I see where you're going with the question. It's not an uncommon trick on film and TV soundtracks to accompany the first shot of the hot date in the slinky dress with a couple of sax swoon notes.
Kenny G. Thats all i have to say.
