Depends on you age at the time you start dating. I dated my husband for 4 years but I was only 16 and he was only 17 when we started dating.
You bring up a good point, but I'm counting how ever old you are right now. It will be interesting to see the breakdown by age though :)
Come to think of it, it will be even more fun to see how the male/female vote breaks down.
I've dated guys longer than 3 years without getting antsy about it; now that I'm older I think I would be less willing to stretch things out on a "maybe". (I find as you get older you can reach better conclusions faster). So I said 1.5 - 3 years.

Well how about when you do not wish to marry at all? I think you can have a serious commitment to one another without getting married...
I probably should have written my question to help differentiate those who want to get married from those who don't, but in this case I would select love have no limits since it's not a requirement for you.
