All tourists care about when traveling the UK is the history of the place.
I'm guessing that if you come all the way from the US that could well be the case. However, many, many readers are UK based and so the history is something they might alreday know. Interesting point - two different audiences could read the same review and it needs to appeal to both. Thanks.
I Think all are equally important.
I put history because that's what I'd be MOST interest in. But sightseeing opportunities, local museums and famous chefs (giving me ideas of places to eat while there) would be all be information I'd want as well. As for hotels - they'll give you a chunk of money for the advertisements that would offset the cost of printing, but that information is often easily obtained on the internet. My reservations would have been made in advance of traveling.
Having eaten food in the UK, I would have to say, everything except the food. ;o)
