I think if they communicate with each other they will see how silly this whole thing is and in turn will start to pressure their governments to bring peace. When there is a true understanding between peoples it should make it harder for some crazies to persuade them they ought to hate each other.

Ordinary people tend to care most about the really important stuff like living their life and providing for their families, if they communicate they'll see that is the same across all physical and religious and philosophical boundaries. Seeing as 99% of the world is ordinary people there is a lot more commonality than there is difference.

This is not a problem between the people, the masses, it is between the governments. Same as in USA, we must show the world that our dick (penis) is bigger than anyone else. In a smaller regard, why mid life men drive fast cars, why bald men buy rugs, hair plugs, blah, blah, blah.....
