Mom and the cat.

I read that men were statistically less likely to save pets - something like on 46% would save their pet before their wallet!

Old survey though.

For this one I decided to assume living things would come first. :)

Myself, or the house

You must have a very small house.

PC...my photos & sentimental items are on my PC ;)

Notion seconded.

Not sure about other countries, but in the US you can take burned cash in a toasted wallet into your bank, even burned beyond recognition. They can forward it to the US treasury. The ashes can still be identified (including the amount of the currency) and the cash will be replaced. Often times your bank and credit cards replacements will be expedited at no additional charge in case of fire.

So save the photos the PC and the heirlooms! (after the living things, that is). Often wondered to how my neighbors would respond to my tossing the dog off the deck. He's a good dog, but he'd be freaked out and start biting at everything around him. It'd be scary! I'd have to rely on the fire department's sentimental attachment to Dalmatians. (not lol)

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll probably die in a fire. First I'd have to round up my rats in their travel cages and get them safely out of the house, then I'd go back for the laptop, and the firemen would finally find me dead of smoke inhalation having unsuccessfully tried to carry my digital piano down the stairs. The only reason the laptop would go before the piano is because I know it'd be easier to carry -- I love my piano to death.

Hmmm coming from a highschool kid, have everything you love in or around the same place so you can take it all out. But I would take these comic books i created with some friends, or photos....and i don't have cash so yeeeaaahhh....
