DLP (Digital Light Processing) -- Light is projected on to a chip with millions of microscopic mirrors. Each mirror is a pixel and can be moved very fast to either reflect light on to the screen or not. These TVs are a lot thinner than CRTs but not quite flat. About 3~5 time thicker than and LCD or Plasma.
CRT (Cathode ray tube) -- Your standard old TV with a big tube.

I don't think it's one of those.
Colour
Me poor slob: CRT :-)
CRT :(
Big Plasma - super nice color and clarity. The price for plasma TVs has come down sooo much since it's competitors price (LCD) has also decreased.
Follow-up: Main TV is a plasma, 3 CRTs in the bedrooms and a medium LCD for the kids area.
