Firefox is an open-source, free browser for many OS's that tries to eliminate many of the security concerns and non-standard behavior found in Explorer. It is a good option for those who don't want to mindlessly support Microsoft's anti-competitive nature.

Firefox is a great browser. If you don't care about the philosophy behind it (free and open source) then you can at least appreciate it for the great add-ons. The internet is a wonderful place with AdBlock Plus.

What's so wrong with Firefox? It's not as fast and doesn't look as good as Safari and for most browsing needs you don't need all the bells and whistles you can add to it but it's fairly stable, a lot faster than Internet Explorer (any of the main browsers is better than IE... Opera and Maxthon had to be left out of the poll but they're better than IE too) and all the customization that it allows can be very handy. I've been using it for some time, I downloaded all the betas and release candidates of Firefox 3 and downloaded the official version on the Download day so, yeah, I like it but I still prefer Safari. ;)
