Both the people I know who had it complained of losing their night vision.

A couple of my relatives have had it. Generally they are happy with it. The only complaint has been that it wasn't a 20/20 fix. I think they both have something between 20/40 and 20/60 corrections. So before they had better vision with their glasses/contacts, and slightly worse vision now without the need for glasses/contacts except for reading.

I do astronomy. Will never consider such a thing.

My ex-wife had it done and she's really pleased with her results. I've considered it, but have no plans to have it done. I'll have to ask her if it affected her night vision.

I can really really recommend it. No more glasses for me. I found them too heavy no matter what model and they often got in the way. I also wore contacts. Cumbersome. Expensive. Now I can swim with my eyes open. And I see better than ever before. It's really wonderful!
