True enough - all things being equal people would rather buy from thise they know like and trust and even when they are not people would still rather buy from those they know like and trust. So as sellers we need to be better known - get out there more - certainly liked - be friendly to all and build a business on trust.
When I used to sell business to business, customers that trusted me would tell me what others were selling and how much they were selling for. In the business I was in, there were more people out there with "good deals" than there were trustworthy reps.
If trust is there, the customer assumes the price can be worked out.
