Often I had the feeling even my bones were shaking, because it was so cold. Even though that I love winter sport, snow ball fights and making snow men I don't miss it. We live in sunny S-CA now and enjoy it immensely. Winter good-bye for ever! :)
But your answer made me thinking: Let's believe it's easily possible to move to sunny countries. The sunny countries would be hopelessly over-crowed; not to mention all the problems involved. Right?
I can imagine for these reasons many from the sunny's would prefer moving to the now almost empty, cold areas. Wouldn't that be funny in a sarcastic way? ;)
Except snow-birds are coming anyway during the warm months, but many more people would move in forever. It has a positive side as well.
They will bring money with them, because they had to sell everything, buy houses and renovate according to their taste which will not only keep construction companies happy and busy; they need cars when they are from over-seas, furniture and what have you. The unemployment rate will drop immensely; the financial crisis would soon be "snow from yesterday", the tax-income will be of good use (pssst, please - I can hear you) and so much more.
So, BlackOrchid, what do you think? Should we all move much closer to each other? No, you don't have to answer, BlackOrchid, because I see you already packing everything up to move to a cold area and not only to shot a poor moose. Am I right? What does that remind you off? Well, what? Correct! I am watching you!!!
Now, BlackOrchid, take care and good bye for now. :)
YO it's penguinly 14! yo friend! My dad says winter sucks! I hate it most of the time so my answer was 'i dont care as long as we have christmas! v__^-^__v

lucky!
I like our hot weather at Christmas.
Northern Ireland sucks in the winter!
If people were supposed to live where it gets this cold, they would have evolved fur.

What, like every other animal that lives where it snows? Wait...no...they have fur too! ;)
Humans aren't like other animals. We can kill other animals and use their skins for warmth.
Exactly. WE have to do something to make it tolerable because we are NOT adapted for snow.
Yeah... that was my point.
Like living in a tropical climate.
...What is?
Hoe one deals with not being adapted to snow.
Ok... so Like living in a tropical climate is how one deals with not being adapted to snow. Glad we got that point cleared up.
