The liberals fight for the rights of blue collar workers now. Conservatives only fight for the rich and could care less about people that work harder for less money.
Do you think so? The questioner is in Australia, so I'm not sure... but in any event, I seem to see Democrats in the pockets of big health care just like Republicans.
I know of many "conservatives" -- Christians -- who go tom any countries to help the poor and downtrodden, as well as in the US, something to do with the Christian beliefs. They are conservatives, but I don't see them doing the same for rich folks.
Lin should say that this is her opinion, it is ignorance and bias when you make unqualifed statements that never will be accurate.
Besides, she likes to make statements and always dodges requests to substantiate them, when called upon.
I accept statements that are 100% accurate, even those that are qualifed with descriptors, In my opinion, 50% of liberals, etc.
We should bless our forefathers who fought for the rights of everyone... no matter what color their collar.

Please provide the proof or state that this is your opinion.
Even if she were to provide "proof" (which you would not likely accept), I think we can safely assume this is an opinion. ;o)
