We should all be working harder to prevent global warming affecting future generations so severely.

Most Liberals do want and can tolerate different opinion, Me personally I can't stand garbage and that is why I voted BO down. Specially so when he replies to his own comments.
What you are saying is not true...just about every conservative opinion gets voted down on here. I have seen it way too often. Occasionally someone will vote down a liberal comment but they will have a -1 or -2 at most, BO had a -6 a few minutes ago. Why I wonder, his links are as valid as some of the other links I have seen posted on here?
Well look at my opinion, it just got voted down as well. Just because there are more Liberals in this world then Conservatives you do have more of a chance to get voted down. I will give you that.
Yeah, the day 97% of the scientists active in global warming research claim that global warming is not happening and we humans are not responsible for that, I will change my mind.
Though some of us have a greater responsability than others. Not only did the industrialised part of the world cause it, it is also in the hands of a few nations to combat this problem. We can hardly ask the people in Africa to solve the global warming problem.
I think you trying a little to hard to read into that statement. Either everyone gets involved in this global warming stuff or no one does. That is every country not one person. If you allow some countries (or continents) not to participate then you could see a huge shift in industry from industrialized countries to non-industrialized countries (or continents) and I just don't think a lot of people are gonna go for that.
Sorry, it was a sad attempt at humor, I knew what you meant. And I agree we are together on this earth and we have to work together in order to make it a better place for all, not just a select few.
But yes you are correct, since we (the industrialized nations) pollute far more per capita then they do, it wouldn't be fair to ask them to reduce carbon emissions right now.

Either we are all in this together, or we aren't in this at all.
So one person can hold the world at ransom?
One person??
Yes one person "all" excludes one person...

Well, what about China? Are they cooperating? They have all the factories now. Is India cooperating?
