Read a book that detailed her injuries and why her death happened.

I love France - but never, ever, EVER get in a serious automobile accident in France.

And always wear a seat belt.

Yep.

If you consider it an accident when the driver is intoxicated.

I don't see how. An accident is by definition when no one is at fault. At a minimum we have speeding, and alcohol. Vehicular pursuit and evasion is also possible even before we get to conspiracy theories. They certainly where NOT diving down the road normally, at the speed limit, wearing their seat belts. Someone (if not more than one person) was clearly at fault here, the only area of uncertainty is who and how much so.

I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories either, but just looking at the facts there are definately people to blame for the crash and the deadly result. Driving while intoxicated is a very serious crime in my book for one. (If it results in a deadly accident or not). One of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver who was too drunk to spot a red light.

Her driver was driving recklessly but I am positive he didn't drive into a tunnel support column on purpose, so if it wasn't on purpose it was an accident. Yes, Princess Diana's death was an accident.
