Elvis started it all, without Elvis there may never had been a Michael.

Worldwide ??? No internet or air travel like today! No mp3's, mostly records & then tapes instead of CD's. Kinda' hard to compare the 2 and technology, then & now.

different times, different people, different styles, Elvis was the true king no doubt about it, everything came after him.

I dont think so...Elvis war the King of ROCK!

M.J. "only" was the King of ..... Pop.

MJ crowned himself "King of Pop", married into the Elvis dynasty, and bought the Beatles dynasty. He was wildly popular and important to the music industry, but was he a pretender to the throne?

Michael left this world owing $500 million, that's ½ a billion dollars!

I bet if I spend that much people would like me too!

U2 is more popular then both of them (internationally). They are probably the most famous international band in the world.

U2? I can't tell you one song they did! With Elvis, They not only knew the songs but could sing them also!

Yeah, but suprisingly they are HUGE in other countries. Did you ever see footage from one of there concerts? its crazy.

Nope, and doubt I ever will!

No one is bigger than the Beatles.

Dang that is a hard one. Seeing as I am personally a bigger Michael Jackson fan (though I adore Elvis too) I'll go with him. They both changed the world forever. I couldn't imagine music today at all without their influence and I wouldn't want to.
