Both traditionally and non-traditionally it's harder for females. My guess is ONLY A MAN would have the audacity to say "males" and that is only because only a female will truly know; however, a man with an iota of sense would know as well.
Having a "period" every 28 days, the accompanying PMS, the pains of child birth, until recently doing the same jobs for less money, and historically having to prepare meals totally from scratch while hubby hunted for food and/or plowed the fields.
I never said it wasn't hard for males, I just said it was HARDER for females. Note too that I added non-traditionally on my own, the poll only asks for opinions of "traditionally."
BTW I'm up for debate, being a man I've got nothing better to do. ;-)

generally speaking, money makes most problems easier to deal with, and women still make only $0.68 on the dollar compared to men in the same job with equal qualifications.

And that is based on what??

I agree. Women do most of the work.

If what is being said here is true (and I am sure that is!), would that imply that the expectation of success is more burdensome on the male?
Some good comments. BUT women live on average about 10 years longer than men. Pay-back?
That depends on how you look at it? If women have harder lives is it necessarily good that they live longer?
I don't know, but as a woman, I'd rather live a shorter life.
So, I guess life expectancy could be looked as either good or bad. It really depends on the person.
