Tony Blair should be prosecuted for war crimes, because he led Great Brittan to a war with Iraq under false pretenses?

I would bet he was lied to just like the rest of us. If anyone should be prosecuted, it should be Chaney and Bush. Along with Rumsfeld, and the rest of the administration.
The thing is, he is saying he would have invaded Iraq regardless if he knew about WMD's not being there or not, and that "he would have to come up with some other arguments for the war".
Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.

No!
He should be prosecuted for lying to the UK parliament and people - not sure about war crimes.
Why, starting a war under false pretense is not a war crime?
Good question. But the US, the UK and others - including Canada? - who participated had UN cover.
No, they didn't have UN cover. Since GB and the US have veto power, this will never be formally questioned in the UN either. Canada did not join btw, (the PM at the time said "it is just wrong") -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multinational_force_in_Iraq#Troop_deployment_in_Iraq_2003-present
