Perhaps the greatest humanitarian and the most Christian, but too honest, direct and too much of a micro-manager to make a good president.
Worst Presidents? None of those. You forget Herbert Hoover (who's lack of corporate oversight gave us the Great Depression), and the man who has always been regarded as the VERY worst president in US history: Ulysses S. Grant, though WHY that is - I don't know. Never really studied it to know, but he's always been #1 on the list. But a few people I know who DO know the ins and outs of past administrations are now sadly pointing to our current administration as the one who will NOW be remembered as the worst in history, far surpassing all of Grant's and Hoover's poor decisions and horrific diplomacy skills. And none of them are liberals like me. All are hard-core business men with corporate financial backgrounds. One of them just recently removed the Bush/Cheney '04 sticker from the back of his SUV.
Grant is usually considered the worst president in American history because of the widespread corruption during his presidency. There's no evidence (to my knowledge) that he was ever a beneficiary of the corruption, but it is his legacy unfortunately for him.
lmao - just noticed THESE guys were all Dems with the EXCEPTION of the man considered our nation's father. Yeah, like someone's going to pick George Washington as the worst president we ever had. Did you know (this blew me away in history class) that the reason Washington is admired and respected world wide is because he was the very FIRST nation leader who surrendered his position without a fight? Never before, in the history of the world, did a man every bow and walk away from that kind of power. Amazing. There's actually a statue of him on Trafalgar Square in London. A gift from the People of the United States to the People of the United Kingdom. And they placed it up on the square dedicated to one of their greatest military leaders. Now, that's a forgiving Mom!

That's what somebody told me in history class. You have to remember, I went to school in the USA!
If I'm not mistaking, it's better qualified than that. I understated it a bit. But he was the first to do something like that ... (lol) Was it just the first in a really, really long time? (rofl)

None of these. James Buchanan is the worst President ever. He could have avoided the Civil War.
A Democrat doesn't make a bad President because he/she is a Democrat and is elected on party-favored policies. If that were the case Washington would take the victory here. Google "Pro-Administration" to find out why.
Possiby JFK for getting the US into the Vietnam mess. Or FDR for his complete failure to foresee the threat from the USSR.
The most underrated Pres: Harry S Truman.
Disagree about JFK, but agree about Truman.
Truman was always my favorite. You have to love honesty in a politician. I don't think we've ever had it since.

George W. Bush by a landslide.
