Why would you want to kill those people? By thinking/saying/doing so you will just end up replacing one dictator by another one.

Saeed, good to see you are still here :)

So sorry your slimy leader managed to cheat himself into another period in charge :(

I think Gordon Brown is bad, and he is, but even with him we are luckier than you lot with Ahmadinejad still in power!

we have lost every thing! they kill people and arrest them every where! students in universities are so angry! they might even close the universities for 1 months or more

Do you actually live in Iran? You would know exactly what goes on there. We only know what the news tells us. I agree you should be careful.

we don't care anymore! we have lost every thing and we don't have any thing else to lose! we just wanna get rid of that F**king KhameneE!

we know we can make it! it doesn't matter if it is soon or late!

On average, over time, not much better or worse than governments in other Western democratic countries.

About averagely corrupt. Unfortunately, the 1930s taught the power structure to demonize any progressive movement, so there is very little political will among the people to hold them in check (although it is growing!). Combined with religious fanaticism, a sure-fire way to short-circuit thinking, and we have pretty much what we've got.

I do think we are better than most other govts in the world. I don't agree with a lot of policies but I still love it here. I also like big govt. They sure know more than most Americans. In Oklahoma only 17% of students knew who our first president was. That is sad.

Only 17% - you are talking about 1st president under the constitution right? I would think maybe you meant 71%. Kids arent that dumb. (I hope.)

Unfortunately, I'm finding some validity to her statement.

This story is running in different forms all over the internet.

First it was a phone survey, so I'm guessing most of the kids just screwed around with it. Second, 23% got the question about Washington right. I know that these aren't the most convincing arguments, but I'm just trying to retain a little hope here...

Lol...I would finish the sentence, "is what it is". Some good, some bad, some indifferent. I think of it as a work in progress.
