Yup, on the news, but I didn't get details. What do you think?

It sounds like you think our government borrowed the money to specifically pay for the rebate checks. Nahhh, don't believe that.

I guess they sort of are. They're borrowing from the Federal Reserve.

Oh No, I hope not.

FUD, Don't believe.

That being said, all money is fungible, so you can say the money came for any one of the Government's sources. It's all meaning less.

No, they're just printing it.

I think what I'm saying is cashing in checks that aren't good. Don't we owe plenty of money to others already? And will a couple hundred, to bout a grand really help anyone catch up, including the economy? I like having more money, but I feel like I'm gonna pay dearly for it in the long run!

I think your feelings will prove true.

US economy is trading heavily on loaned resource. UK ain't much better. The recent move to free cash through tax reduction is likely to stave off, but increase the effect of, the inevitable recession. Nobody gets out looking good

Any money that goes in my pocket instead of some bureaucrats is a good thing in my book.

They got it from China--don't put it in your mouth!!
