Chemistry, Biology, History, Maths, English, RE, Geography, Phyisics, English Literature, Spanish, French, Geology, etc. is all about writing, memeorizing facts, learning equations, writing essays, answering mind-numbingily boring questions.
Besides, creative arts encourage imagination and thinking for yourself- in art or shop class, for example, students often come up with their own ideas for projects. So I think they are very important!
