You are partially right in that saying that Islam is dangerous. Where you are wrong is in saying it is more dangerous than the others. I still rate them all as being equally bad. Islam is only the one that was chosen by the people with the rule the world and kill everybody that disagrees mentality to hide behind.
And the religion is still pacifist--and is observed less in the breach than Christianity, Judaism, or Islam. Despite SRi Lanka. I haven't kept up on that one, but I would be real interested to see how much fucking around with the economy has been done by foreign governments. That kind of thing, while not always a proximate cause, often exacerbates existing problems.
If a religion told you to kill your neighbor for being different - than it is dangerous. If a religion professes that all non-believers should convert or be killed - than it is dangerous.
All are dangerous but at this point in time I would say islam is most dangerous. With so many young people being brainwashed in madrassas, living under corrupt regimes, often supported by us in the west - it is a recipe for disaster and we already have seen our share of that.
Christians have killed more people then any other religion, but some Muslims countries are still living in the dark ages, some Christians in western countries are as well.
I don't claim to be an expert on religions other than Christianity, but I don't believe that most religions are dangerous at their core. I believe they all promote peace and love. However I feel that man uses and twists religion to suit his needs, and that its religious fundamentalists that need to prove they are the true and right religion that are the real danger.
Religion is a just a bad idea. I disagree however on the statement that Islam is more dangerous than any other religion. Fundamentalists in all religions are f*cking psychos...and besides, Islam does not say to go out and kill people, its the idiots who interpret the book that way.

All of them. Except maybe BaHa'i and Buddhism. Unlike other religions which give lip service to pacifism, BaHa'i, like Buddhism, IS pacifist.
The Tamils will disagree with your pacifist definition of Buddhism.

Islam and Christianity is second. Just look at the stupid wars over religion. Never heard anything bad about Hinduism or Buddhism.
