[-6 points] 2 years ago by deleted user ReplyI don't believe that the answer from the Census Bureau is a good one. I'm fairly sure that a vast majority of the population knows about the up coming census. The letter was really a vehicle to plead the case that the census should be filled out.
The fiscally responsible way to have done it would have been to make the letter the coversheet for the census.
I will be filling out my census with all the Constitutionally mandated information. Namely: my name, address and nothing else.
OMG,(please excuse the childish acronym) "translate" I do not think that even you believe that spending $85 million to send out these letters was a good idea and the absurd idea that it will potentially save $500 million,,,, well that is absurd in itself.
