The federal government will pay $18,000,000 to "Redesign" just one Web site. "Wasteful Spending?"

"This reminds me of the scene in Independence Day when the President asks where they got the funding for the Area 51 lab... "You don't think they really spent $18 million on a website do you?"
You know you might include the fact that this isn't a one time expenditure like you make it sound, but a five year budget to run and maintain the website, data center, data processing, and manpower.
It would be kind of like me saying, "McDonald's will pay $120,000 for a cook, are they paying too much?" and not mention that is for that person for 5 years and included other hidden costs like HR, uniforms, liability insurance, etc...
Thanks for answering the other 2 questions for me! You just told them, it's true! ☺
It is just a website ►"redesign", not a brand new site from scratch. Just "1" Million a year would be overpaying, and that's for the initial design, after that is should go way down. I didn't say anything about extras, a data center for a website? Who do you think you are Bill Gates? A one or 2 room office will work fine, 2, 3 or 4 people!
. . . . . . . . ►IT'S A WEB SITE!!!◄ . . . . . . . .
I also didn't say the company winning the contract has ties to ►"Steny Hoyer"◄, donations, but now you know that too! I'm not quite sure how or why a website needs uniforms, health-care, dental or insurance, I don't think that will help the site if it ► crashes ◄.
I don't think you have any idea how much ► 18 MILLION ◄ is, it's probably more then you or I, "combined" will ever make in our lifetimes (unless your share is over 17). Besides if we were talking about ►$120,000◄ "we wouldn't be talking about it!" (I'd also prefer a real cook, over the website).
Got some evidence to back up that assertion?
I'll need to quote Iggy here:

P.S. Is the McDonald's still hiring?
