I say Babe Ruth. No drugs, great pitcher for Boston, then champion home run hitter for New York Yankees, hit for high average, on base percentage very high. Bonds' records should be expunged and if he goes to the Hall of Fame I suggest a big fat asterick!
Ted Williams was my favorite all around hitter, while Joe Dimaggio was my favorite all around player.

The best hitter ever was Ted Williams. Not even close. In 10 years the best player of all time will be A-Rod. Unless he gets Ken Griffey disease.
BTW, Yankees suck.
I hate the Yankees too, but by tearing down the House the Ruth built rather than restoring it - they've lost all rights to claim Ruth as "their boy."
