It happens in Australia when there is a group of young people who have had too much alcohol or are on drugs. They will attack the ambulance and paramedics trying to save their friends.
All I know is she shot out onto the field, grabbed wounded boys, tossed them in the back of the ambulance, and drove off again, and lived to have my mother. :-)
Targeting ambulances is completely unethical of course. But hiding soldiers or bombs in an ambulance is as well. I have no proof that either is happening but we should not forget that war is usually dirty. (And when you hide soldiers in an ambulance it is no longer an ambulance but a disguised military vehicle..) As the first casualty in a war is often unbiassed reporting it is very difficult to know what really happens.

Um, there isn't a single thing in that link about "Israel targeting Ambulances". Here are the words around the word Ambulance in that PDF:
-A paramedic working for the UHWC, an Oxfam-funded organisation, was killed when an Israeli shell struck an ambulance trying to evacuate an injured person in the Beit Lahiya area:
-Today, generators at MoH ambulance stations, vaccine stores, labs and warehouses shut down due to lack of fuel, until UNRWA delivered fuel to the MoH.
-Palestine Red Crescent ambulance staff has been unable to respond to many calls due to the military operations.
-Safety of ambulances and medical staff is a major concern.
-In coordination with the Israeli authorities, the ICRC is helping coordinate safe passage for a number of ambulances, a fire brigade team, GEDCO and CMWU technical staff to ensure that they are not shelled while assisting people in need or repairing damages.
-It is essential that patients and ambulances are able to reach hospitals, that agencies are able to access warehouses in order to conduct distributions, and that staff are able to move to fix damages to public services. Bakeries also need to have access to gas stored in gas stations along the border area.
Notice a complete lack of the term "targeting". It does say that some medical staff have been injured and killed, but nowhere does it say targeted.
They are targeting areas. Sometimes, in those areas there are ambulances. That does not equal "They are targeting ambulances". It's a false leap of logic.
Perhaps you should look up the word "Target". Your quote doesn't say anything about that. I have already conceded that Ambulances and medical staff may have been hurt in the fighting. That is different than targeting them.
I don't know what you are talking about here, but shelling a hospital is still not the same as "targeting an Ambulance". It may be in the same category, but it is not the same act. Just give up you jumped to a conclusion that was wrong and now you are scrambling for something. Leave this topic alone.
CDog, I agree with arashad. You have been so blinded by the US media that you think that all those countries there are evil so you are (poorly) trying to give justification for the murder of innocent workers who are trying to help the helpless people...
I have no idea why you people dig this crap up. But the point here was that his initial conclusion was incorrect. In addition I don't need to justify the "murder of innocent workers". It's fucking WAR. People will die, combatants and non-combatants alike. Everyone has been blinded by this stupid idea that war is civilized and it's not. I think Israel should destroy the Palestinians utterly, but they won't.
And my thought that those countries are "evil" isn't because of US Media (US Media treats Islam with kid gloves). It's reading the reports from Middle Eastern and European papers about the activities and atrocities of those countries and that religion. It's also my own reading of the Koran and the histories of Islam.

That is certainly within their right as sovereign nations. They can nuke the US if they want to. We will strike back, and we know how the game will end. But it is certainly reasonable to expect any country at war to use the means at it's disposal to win that war.

The police are often called to assist.
Goodness, one is inclined to say "Evolution in action" and let them expire!
That's just dumb. So sorry!
Agree with you.
Yes exactly the same has happened several times over the past years in the Netherlands. It an alarming trend.
I'm rather prickly on this subject as my grandmother drove and ambulance on the front lines in WWI.
How respected an ambulance was during WW1?
was it a subdivision of the army?
All I know is she shot out onto the field, grabbed wounded boys, tossed them in the back of the ambulance, and drove off again, and lived to have my mother. :-)
According to my information and the news I read .. ambulances are targeted in Israeli airstrikes
And your source for this information would be...?
I hope that isn't happening. It would be very gutless to target health workers.
No doubt the news in the United Arab Emirates is totally non biased against the Jews.

Very well put, I agree. Targeting a school is also not appropriate unless the school is being used as an Amo Dump or rockets are being fired from it.

What would bring an Israeli shell to struck an ambulance which arrived to the scene aftermath the strike.

Just search the web and get testimonials from paramedics and even live footages during the attacks

ok, maybe I was drifted away with the media's statement
I take my comment back .. since I finally found the proof, here it is in IDF's face
"PRCS staff have been wounded and shot at in the course of their duties and their ambulances and properties have been severely damaged."

What about shelling the red crescent hospital a few hours back?
is this targeting?

well if you are saying that its WAR does that mean that all the islam countries could nuke the US since its WAR and its retaliation?
That is certainly within their right as sovereign nations. They can nuke the US if they want to. We will strike back, and we know how the game will end. But it is certainly reasonable to expect any country at war to use the means at it's disposal to win that war.
It is war. War spares no one.
